Three Cool Places to Visit in Central Taiwan



If you are thinking about visiting Central Taiwan and you only have a few days, I would like to suggest that you visit Sun Moon Lake, Jiji Train Station and The Aowanda National Forest Recreation. These three places have something to offer everyone.

And now that's start ~~~~


The first place I want to introduce is called Sun Moon Lake, and I want to introduce this place is because it is the largest lake in Taiwan and we can have many different thing to do there. Many people like to take a boat and enjoy the scenery around the lake. Or you can even take boat to a spot and then stroll around.  My favorite thing to do here is to take a cable car and overlook all around Sun Moon Lake, that's can be a big treat.


The second place that I recommend is Jiji Train Station. It's a very historical place and the reason why I recommend this place is because it is a center point of the Taiwan railway feeder. Next to the station it also have a museum of Railway and Cultural relics, I thing it will be a good place for tourist to learn about Taiwanese railway history.


Finally, I also highly recommend that you check out Aowanda National Forest Recreation, which is well known for it Maple leaf, and Cherry blossoms. Therefore, when you go there, remember to bring your camera, clearly understand what kind of the flower or leaf is full bloom, and then enjoy the good view and nature there.


In closing: if you are lucky enough to be visiting Taiwan, but only have time to visit a few places, remember to visit Sun Moon Lake, Jiji Train Station and Aowanda National Forest Recreation. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

Three Fun Festivals in Taiwan Taiwan has many fun festivals throughout the year. For example, in Springtime, you can visit the Lantern Festival in PingXi. I like the Lantern festival best because of the Sky Lantern in PingXi is very beautiful that many people will go there to enjoy it. Additionally, every one can make a little lantern by oneself and walk on the street if you want to join this festival but don't want to pay so much money.  In summer time, if you’re lucky enough to be in Taiwan, remember to visit the Dragon Boat Festival. I really like this festival is because my grandmother will make rice dumpling at this festival and it is very yummy that I can eat it for three meal . Many people like to go to river bank and watch the race of dragon boat.
